Social Media Is Here To Stay

Social media is here to stay, like it or not, use it or not, it’s not going anywhere.

Here are some of the basic fundamentals of Social Media Marketing.

  1. You have to choose your online Identity.
  2. Use to see if your username is available on the social media sites
  3. Social Media monitoring, listen to what people are saying about you, your business, or your products.
  4. Do a Twitter search, find keywords about your service or product
  5. Do a Facebook search, search all public content about you, your service or product
  6. Do a LinkedIn search, search for competitors, look under “answers”  see if anyone has ask about you or business or products.
  7. Google yourself, your business, and product or service
  8. Set up Google Alerts, it’s an easy way to keep up to date with what people are saying about you.
  9. Set up Social Media Monitoring, it offers tools to help you automate, and track your progress.
  10. Have fun and share.

In my opinion, Social Media is NOT going anywhere, so whether you’re a business or individual, if you want to be successful in today’s market, you better get SOCIAL!
